A sweaty dance floor was the first idea in order to write this track, so a combination of a bass synth, percussion and kick programming and a siren-sounding patch started the first draft. Working with delays and filters to sculpt the layers of the track, I decided to keep the tempo in the steady side, bringing that sexiness to the beat, and letting the sound evolve through the chains of modulations.
When filming the video, unfortunately there were no sexy dance floors open, as the pandemic had just hit and we were in full lockdown. My response to that was to buy a subwoofer and set up my camera on a tripod in my living room. One of the things I missed most was dancing, wether it was in the club or in the dance studios, so I decided to blast the volume of my sound system and film some voguing. This, plus the stillness of the city during lockdown is what influenced the idea for the video.
